If this could possibly happen on American Idol, I'd watch.

5K
To be completely honest, I don't like running. It's boring, dull, and hard. I would so rather be doing something else. However, running is cheap (ie free) and easy to do on a regular basis. I bought a couple of pairs of great, cheap, shoes when a store in downtown was going out of business and I am all set for the next couple of years.
So I run. I don't run a lot (5k 3-5 times a week). But I do run. It's going to be hard come this summer because it's just going to be too warm (the past couple of summers in berkeley were great). However, I will continue to run in the mornings and evening when I can.
I do like to participate in fun runs. There are a lot of people, I can see what my time is, lots of food, a shirt, etc. The fun runs are, well, kind of fun. I had one today. The Nike/fleet feet women's fitness festival 5K. My goal, run it in under 28 minutes. My time - 26:47. If that isn't cool, then I don't know what is. Also, they split the runners into two groups. Those that will do the run in under 36 minutes and those that do it in over 36 minutes. Even with the split and without all the walkers, I still managed to finish in the top 25%. Not bad at all.
Now I just have to figure out when my next run is going to be. :-)

What a week
Do you ever have a day where you just feel bad? I usually don't. I usually feel bad for a couple of hours, and then move on. Nothing is worth feeling bad for longer than that.
That's why this whole being in a bad mood for an entire week thing is really weird. I don't like it much. So if I am in a bad mood around you...sorry. :-)
