Papers and longer papers

Next semester I have to write a 25 page brief. Does that sound long? It used to sound long to me. I've never written a 25 page scientific paper 10-15 yes - stretching it. But 25. Nope.

I am working on a brief for class. Considering all of the rules they give me, ie 13 pt font, Times New Roman, 1 inch margins. it's going to be easy to get to 25 pages. I'm only allowed 2050 words for this assignment, which ends up on page ten, and I'm going crazy. After editing and editing, I'm down to 2089 words. Luckily I get all of tomorrow to whittle down and edit some more. Of course, I have to add some more because my fact section isn't complete. Which means I have to whittle down MORE.  I can't fudge it. I have to sign a sworn statement that my paper is a certain number of words. Oh gosh, this is going to be bad

And seriously, who would pick 13 point font? What a crazy thing to do.
