Frida

I must welcome my niece, little Frida Sofia to the world. Born 8:50 Jo-berg time, April 2nd. If the doctors had waited 10 minutes, she would have been born on April 2nd in our time as well, ces't la vie, or, considering the family, que sera, sera. These are the pics from my brother's site.








Magda was scheduled to have a c-section on the 4th, but Frida didn't want to wait that long. 2.3 kilos (5.06 lbs for those that need a conversion) with a head of dark hair (by c-section). That sure as heck didn't come from my side of the family (Jeff and I were both blond babies). She's her mother's little girl and as cute as can be, and I won't see her till she's six months old *sob* (Shannon, I think I need to visit, Airy, I can't wait three months!!!) . My favorite picture of the lot, Jeff holding Frida with Kenny either kissing her or trying to figure out what the heck she is. Thanks Magda for putting up with being pregnant and gestational diabetes again to give me a niece.

I've bought my ticket to S.A. by they way, I am leaving September 27th for 2 and a half weeks. YEAAAA Two whole weeks with my niece and nephew. Oh and my sister-in-law and my brother of course. :-)
